Imagina installation problem has now been resolved. On some systems Imagina would exit during initialisation due to a missing DLL - this is now being packaged with the installation program.

A new version of the Imagina is now available to download. On this occasion, there are no new features to speak of but several performance optimisations have been indentified and implemented. Enhanced Windows Colour Management is also now fully implemented.

I've been away for a while, travelling around South America for three months. So as you can imagine, Imagina has received little attention during that time and this explains the lack of recent updates. However, having used it extensively on my netbook for the photographs that I took while I was out there, I have cooked up a whole new set of enhancements to make it even better. Working on them for the last month, a new release is now just around the corner. Get ready!

Imagina is upgraded once more with improved and extended image editing features that will help you get just the results that you are looking for. With improvements to brightness and contrast, colour balancing, curve editing, multi-level undo / redo and more, editing with Imagina now gives you all the control you could ask for, with a user interface that is still common sense. We've also added parallel processing support to utilise all of your CPU cores when making lengthy edits to your images.
Imagina is upgraded once again with new raw file format support for many leading camera manufacturers, including; Apple, AVT, Canon, Casio, Epson, Fuji, Hasselblad, Imacon, Kodak, Konica, Leaf, Leica, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Phase One, Samsung, Sigma and Sony. This new feature is courtesy of the sterling work of Dave Coffin on DCRAW - the engine behind our own raw format support.

Imagina now supports playback of all the common video file formats. All files are played to an internal bitmap before being displayed onto the screen, and as such, can be panned, rotated and zoomed as if they were an ordinary image.
